The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. vacuum and mop combo provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of the button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.
In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific route.
The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to help you map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
